A sex trafficker has been sentenced to 16 years in prison. 36 year old Akporode Uwedjojevwe of Michigan, pleaded guilty in November to one count of Sex Trafficking and one count of coercion. A search for a wanted man that started Tuesday night, was wrapped up Wednesday morning with the arrest of Carlos Mendoza. Crews Making Progress on 446 Repairs

NDOT says crews are making good progress, in restoring State Route 446, the most damaged roadway in the January floods. No Jail Time For Driver Who Hit Protesters

Reno Police Investigate Shooting in Stead

One person has been sent to the hospital after a late night shooting in Stead. According the Reno Police, it happened around 11:30 p.m. near Stead Blvd. and Silver Lake Rd. Police say that the person who was shot was taken to the hospital, but there is no word on the severity of their injuries.…MORE
