(Reno, NV) — Residents have a new place to workout in Reno, but it’s not in a gym.
City officials cut the ribbon on the new fitness court at Brodhead Park on Thursday, which offers free outdoor exercise platforms right above the Truckee River. Those who use the court can perform different workouts, like pull-ups, ladder drills, inclined dips and lunges.
The court was the result of collaborative efforts between the City of Reno, Renown Hospital and the Reno Aces.
Renown Health Chief Marketing & Customer Engagement Officer Suzanne Hendery says the court is a great alternative for those who enjoy exercising outside.
Another fitness court is expected to open near Damonte Ranch this Saturday.
