(Reno, NV) – Most government offices in Reno and Sparks will be closed Monday in observance of Presidents Day. City offices, courts, and libraries will not operate, and there will be no U.S. Postal Service delivery, though emergency services will remain available. Residents are encouraged to check with their local agencies for specific facility and transit schedule changes.
The following closures are in effect for Sparks:
- Sparks City Hall
- Sparks Parks & Recreation
- Alf Sorensen Community Center
- Larry D. Johnson Community Center
- Sparks Municipal Court
- Sparks PD Front Office
All will reopen Tuesday, February 17.

All City of Reno recreation facilities and pools will be closed on Monday, February 16, with the exception of Moana Springs Community Aquatics and Fitness Center, which will be open from 5:30 a.m. to noon. Please visit the City’s Parks and Recreation page for more information.
