(Carson City, NV) – Attorney General Aaron Ford has joined a multi-state coalition to defend access to contraceptive care in federal court. The coalition is supporting the Affordable Care Act’s requirement that most health insurance plans cover contraception, arguing that removing the mandate would make birth control more expensive and harder to access. Ford says protecting contraceptive coverage helps ensure Nevada residents can continue to receive essential preventive health care.
