(Washington, D.C.) — Both of Nevada’s Democratic senators voted in favor of a war powers resolution that ultimately failed yesterday. The vote was in response to President Donald Trump’s decision to attack Iran. If it had passed, it would have forced the Senate to debate the merits of the war and could have blocked additional military engagement. All but one Republican voted to block the measure and all but one Democrat voted to support the war powers resolution.
