(Reno, NV) — The Sky Vista Roundabout in Reno’s North Valleys got a welcome addition on Thursday. Leaders from the city and Washoe County unveiled a new sculpture gracing the center of the roundabout. It models work done by artist James Dinh with help from O’Brien Middle School students. The sculpture features the Mountain Bluebird, Nevada’s state bird. It cost $120,000, but contributions from Washoe County, the National Endowment for the Arts and the City’s public art allocations helped fund the project.
